This award is to be presented to the Texas Funeral Service Licensee with longevity, of 25 years or more continuous service, who has/had portrayed the following:
Outstanding citizenship in the community, serving when called upon to strengthen, preserve and improve the community in which he/she lives.
A higher standard of ethics and professionalism as he/she carefully preserves the confidence of personal and business relationships with those he/she serves.
Mentoring of other funeral directors to advance and further enhance others’ career/skills, demonstrating outstanding integrity and instilling personal integrity, values of trust and competency in others.
Support for his/her professional organizations in their efforts to improve the standards of funeral service and the courage to lend his/her voice in censure against those who would deter these efforts.
